Terra?
Terra, Herald of Hope Commander Deck
Terra, Herald of Hope is a Mardu attack-and-reanimate deck. Terra mills two each combat and flies in. Its combat damage, along with a crowd of other attack and combat-damage triggers, pulls cheap creatures back from the graveyard to the battlefield. Self-mill, looting and discard stock the graveyard. Extra combats, double strike and attack-trigger doubling then multiply every recursion trigger, turning each attack into a growing board and a stream of value. How it wins: It grinds out a wider board through repeated reanimation and extra combats, then swings with pumped, double-striking attackers, backed by end-step burn and drain from graveyard-leaving triggers. Key roles: - Graveyard filling: Terra's trance mill, plus self-mill, looting and wheel-style discard effects, put creature targets and threshold counts into the graveyard. (Stitcher's Supplier, Ripples of Undeath, Faithless Looting) - Combat-triggered recursion: Terra and several attackers return small creatures whenever they connect or attack, and a raid end-step return adds more. This turns each combat into card advantage. (Squall, SeeD Mercenary, Alesha, Who Laughs at Fate, Sun Titan) - Combat multipliers: Extra combat phases, double strike, untapping and doubled attack triggers make every recursion and damage trigger fire again. Lone-attacker synergies suit an evasive Terra or another Warrior attacking alone. (Isshin, Two Heavens as One, Raiyuu, Storm's Edge, Aurelia, the Warleader) - Reanimation spells and ETB recursion: Direct reanimation and creatures that return others on entering rebuild the board and chain value, up to a mass Living Death reset. (Karmic Guide, Victimize, Living Death) - Graveyard-leave and death payoffs: Cards leaving the graveyard grow the board with counters, make tokens or treasure, or trigger end-step damage. Sacrifice outlets and death-draw effects turn recurring bodies into cards. (Celes, Rune Knight, Teval's Judgment, Gau, Feral Youth) - Combat damage card flow: Warrior and combat-damage draw triggers, plus team pumps, keep the hand full and the attackers lethal. (Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor, Mindblade Render, Fervent Charge)
