The deck builds a wide board of Elves and Faeries to fuel Maralen, Fae Ascendant's ability, using the sheer number of creatures entering the battlefield to exile cards from opponents' libraries and then cast those exiled spells for free. Arwen, Weaver of Hope supercharges every creature that enters after her, loading the board with +1/+1 counters equal to her toughness and turning a swarm of utility elves into a formidable army. The deck wins by overwhelming opponents with a massive, counter-laden board and closing out games through combat, often accelerated by a large Genesis Wave or pumped with Overwhelming Stampede to finish in one swing.
