Arcades, the Strategist Commander Deck

Arcades, the Strategist turns an army of high-toughness defender creatures into a card-drawing engine and a legitimate combat threat, since each wall that enters draws a card and attacks using its toughness for damage. The deck floods the board with cheap defenders that generate mana and value, then swings with oversized toughness stats, backed by toughness-boosting effects like Assault Formation and High Alert as redundant enablers alongside Arcades. Board protection through counterspells, phasing, and indestructibility keeps the army intact, while mass removal spells that punish high-power creatures conveniently leave the low-power defender board untouched.
