Oloro turns every instance of lifegain into a paid card draw and a point of drain against each opponent. The deck stacks frequent small lifegain triggers, life doublers and incremental drain to snowball both card advantage and an enormous life total. Its payoffs reward having far more life than the starting total, from anthem-style boosts to outright alternate win conditions, and a heavy enchantment and generic tutor suite digs them out. How it wins: It pushes its life total to 40 or 50 and wins on upkeep with its alternate win cards, or drains opponents out through repeated Oloro triggers, end-step drain and X-spell finishers. Key roles: - Lifegain trigger sources: Creature-enter healers, upkeep drainers and lands or spells that gain life produce many separate gain events. Each one is another Oloro draw-and-drain and another counter on gain-counting creatures (Soul Warden, Drana's Emissary, Creeping Bloodsucker). - Life multipliers: Replacement effects that double gains or add one per gain inflate the life total toward win thresholds and power up X-style payoffs. They stack with each other for huge swings (Rhox Faithmender, Alhammarret's Archive, Angel of Vitality). - Draw-drain loops: Cards that turn lifegain into draws, and draws back into lifegain and drain, feed Oloro in a self-sustaining cycle that buries opponents in damage and refills the hand (Queza, Augur of Agonies, Drogskol Reaver, Exquisite Blood). - Life-threshold payoffs: Several cards switch on once the controller is well above starting life, making tokens, pumping the team, exiling permanents or ending the game outright (Test of Endurance, Felidar Sovereign, Angel of Destiny). - Enchantment tutor package: Enchantment-specific tutors, plus a creature that fetches an enchantment when it dies, reliably find the alternate win enchantment or key engines like Exquisite Blood (Academy Rector, Idyllic Tutor, Enlightened Tutor). - Big drain finishers: X-cost drain spells and end-step damage multipliers convert spare mana and an existing life lead into lethal drain, which Exquisite Blood and the doublers amplify further (Exsanguinate, Debt to the Deathless, Astarion, the Decadent).
