Xyris, the Writhing Storm attacks with evasion-granting equipment and auras to connect for combat damage, triggering a massive group draw that floods the battlefield with Snake tokens for every extra card opponents draw. The deck then weaponizes that token army and the continuous card draw through damage-per-creature effects like Purphoros, God of the Forge and Impact Tremors, while wheel effects and forced draw spells like Forced Fruition accelerate token production to overwhelming numbers and to also deal damage to opponents when they draw cards or I draw cards or they take damage from the number of card in their hand. Shared Animosity and Beastmaster Ascension serve as combat finishers that can threaten lethal attacks with the ever-growing Snake swarm.
