Teval, the Balanced Scale fuels a self-mill engine by attacking repeatedly to dump cards into the graveyard and return lands to the battlefield, generating a steady stream of Zombie Druid tokens whenever those graveyard cards are later exiled, reanimated, or otherwise removed from the graveyard. The deck leverages this graveyard ecosystem through recursive creatures, enchantments that mill over time, and permanents that trigger additional value whenever cards leave the graveyard, with Syr Konrad, the Grim and Sidisi, Brood Tyrant serving as powerful engines that compound the token and damage output. The primary win condition is assembling Tidespout Tyrant with Sol Ring to generate infinite storm count and mana, while the backup plan is overwhelming opponents with a massive board of tokens and graveyard-scaling threats like Lord of Extinction.
