Oloro turns every life gain into card draw and life loss for opponents, so the deck piles up lifegain triggers each turn while sitting behind taxing defenses and removal. A second engine runs on enchantments, which are cheap to cast and make Angels, Sharks and copies, and these also supply bodies and incidental life gain through lifegain payoffs. Opponents are drained down by lifegain-to-life-loss triggers and extort while fliers and Angels add pressure. How it wins: Repeated lifegain triggers Sanguine Bond and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose to drain opponents out, while Felidar Sovereign offers an alternate win by reaching 40 life. Key roles: - Lifegain drain payoffs: Convert each life gained into life loss for opponents, such as Sanguine Bond and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose - Lifegain enablers: Generate extra life gain events each turn to feed Oloro and the payoffs, such as Soul Warden and Authority of the Consuls - Enchantment token makers: Turn enchantment spells into flying Angels and other bodies for offense and defense, such as Sigil of the Empty Throne and Soaring Lightbringer - Extort and punisher drain: Bleed opponents a little every time spells are cast, such as Blind Obedience and Kambal, Consul of Allocation - Lifegain card draw: Turn life gained into extra cards to keep the engine fueled, such as Well of Lost Dreams and Mesa Enchantress - Attack taxes and sweepers: Protect the life total and reset the board while the engine builds, such as Ghostly Prison and Terminus
