Kotis, the Fangkeeper is built to maximize combat damage dealt in a single hit, using power-boosting equipment and counter-synergies to ensure a massive X value when Kotis connects, then casting high-mana-value spells for free off the exiled cards. The deck protects Kotis with indestructibility and hexproof effects while using walls and taxing enchantments to slow down opponents, giving Kotis safe, clear lanes to strike. Counter-doubling effects from cards like Doubling Season and Hardened Scales snowball Kotis's power over time, and the free spells from each hit generate enough card advantage and board presence to close out the game. Allowing for other abilities to create infinite loops of token generation to keep up with high cost cards and be able to use abilities of mixed lands artifact enchantments and other cards to cast multiple copies to help better protect and counter opponents
