Atraxa sits on an enchantment-heavy control shell that slows opponents with attack taxes, enters-tapped effects and stun counters, then drains them out through a life-gain-into-life-loss engine. Atraxa's end-step proliferate grows stun counters, poison, +1/+1 counters, growth counters and planeswalker loyalty, and each proliferate also drains through Scheming Aspirant. A large legendary-creature package backs this up with copy effects and tutor targets. How it wins: Opponents are drained out by life-gain triggers chaining into life loss (Sanguine Bond with Exquisite Blood, Marauding Blight-Priest, extort, Exsanguinate), with Panoptic Mirror plus Time Warp as an alternate infinite-turns lock. Key roles: - Drain engine: Every point of life gained becomes life lost for opponents and loops back. Doubling effects and end-step drains from Eriette of the Charmed Apple and Atraxa's proliferate add steady chip damage (Sanguine Bond, Exquisite Blood, Marauding Blight-Priest). - Pillowfort and tap-down lock: Attack taxes and enters-tapped effects stall the table, while stun counters keep key creatures tapped. Atraxa's proliferate stacks extra stun counters, and the tapping triggers card draw from Sharae (Propaganda, Sphere of Safety, Fear of Sleep Paralysis). - Enchantment value: Enchantment casts draw cards and add mana, enchantments get tutored or cheapened through miracle, and the best ones get copied once per turn (Sythis, Harvest's Hand, Sanctum Weaver, Ondu Spiritdancer). - Counters and proliferate payoffs: Life gain grows creatures, growth counters and Jace loyalty, which Atraxa then pushes further. A small poison and planeswalker angle rides the same proliferate (Scheming Aspirant, Comforting Counsel, Vraska, Betrayal's Sting). - Legendary toolbox and copies: Many legends are fetched by tutors, protected by blanket indestructibility, and multiplied by copy effects that strip the legendary status. Unblockable legends also carry Mjölnir or Helm of the Host (Time of Need, Helm of the Host, Avacyn's Memorial). - Extra-turn lock: Imprinting Time Warp gives a free extra turn every upkeep (Panoptic Mirror, Time Warp, Profane Tutor).
