Toph, the First Metalbender turns nontoken artifacts into lands, enabling the deck's core synergies by making artifact mana rocks and utility pieces eligible for the earthbend mechanic, which repeatedly animates lands into growing creatures. The deck builds a wide board of land-creatures through landfall triggers, counter-based payoffs, and earthbending effects, while also using effects that convert permanents into artifacts to expand the pool of earthbendable targets. The primary win condition involves combining Toph with Bumi, Unleashed and either Liquimetal Torque or Liquimetal Coating to generate infinite combat phases and infinite mana, closing out the game with combat damage.
