The primary path to victory is milling opponents to zero through a combination of landfall triggers, draw-triggered mill effects via Psychic Corrosion, and amplified mill through The Water Crystal, while Jace, Wielder of Mysteries provides an alternative win by drawing out your own library. The Merfolk tribal shell provides cost reduction, islandwalk, and a battlefield presence, with Stormtide Leviathan locking down blockers so islandwalking creatures can close out games if the mill plan stalls.
