Hope Estheim turns life gain into a mill engine, using lifelink, life gain triggers, and spells that restore life to steadily grind opponents' libraries away at the end of each turn. The deck supports this with enchantments that amplify mill whenever cards are put into graveyards, countermagic to protect the gameplan, and defensive creatures to survive long enough for attrition to win. The primary win conditions are combo-based, using Cut Your Losses alongside Bruvac the Grandiloquent or Fraying Sanity to achieve infinite or near-infinite mill in a single stroke.
