Scry payoffs convert each look at the library into cards, counters, tokens or free casts, while a dense suite of counterspells, stax pieces and wraths keeps opponents in check until a finisher lands. How it wins: It mainly closes with Approach of the Second Sun, recast quickly through tutors, Scroll Rack or the scry-and-stack engines.
