Kalamax, the Stormsire is the engine of this deck, which aims to keep him tapped — typically through attacking — so that every instant cast copies itself, triggering his +1/+1 counter growth and enabling explosive value. The deck floods the board with card draw, mana acceleration through lands, and cheap interaction, while Archmage Emeritus and Veyran, Voice of Duality amplify every copied spell into cascading draw and additional triggers. The win condition is a combination of an overwhelmingly large Kalamax threatening lethal commander damage and a suite of instant-speed burn spells that, once doubled or tripled through copy effects and Twinning Staff, deal massive damage to opponents directly.
