Yuriko is a cEDH-style tempo deck. Cheap evasive one-drops connect early, ninjutsu swaps them for Yuriko and other Ninjas, and every Ninja that deals combat damage reveals the top card. Each opponent then loses life equal to that card's mana value. Top-of-library manipulation and tutors stack expensive cards, like 15-mana Shadow of Mortality or 7-drops, so each trigger hits hard. Free interaction and card-advantage Ninjas keep the board and the hand ahead. How it wins: Repeated Yuriko triggers off stacked high-mana-value cards drain the whole table, backed by chip combat damage and copied Ninja triggers, all protected by free counterspells. Key roles: - Evasive enablers: Cheap unblockable, flying or haste creatures attack on turns one and two so a ninjutsu cost can be paid, and changelings count as Ninjas themselves. (Triton Shorestalker, Changeling Outcast, Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive) - Top-deck stacking: Tutors that put a card on top, plus rearranging effects, set up a high-mana-value reveal for Yuriko, then reset it afterward. (Sensei's Divining Top, Scroll Rack, Vampiric Tutor) - Drain payloads: Deliberately expensive cards act as damage once revealed, and some can still be cast cheaply or for free. (Shadow of Mortality, Temporal Mastery, Commandeer) - Ninja value engine: Ninjas with combat-damage triggers draw cards, make treasures, tutor more Ninjas, cut ninjutsu costs and copy attackers, which multiplies Yuriko triggers per combat. (Ingenious Infiltrator, Silver-Fur Master, Thousand-Faced Shadow) - Free interaction suite: Alternate-cost counters and removal let the deck tap out on its own turn for ninjutsu while still protecting the drain plan. (Fierce Guardianship, Force of Will, Deadly Rollick) - Stolen resources: Some Ninja hits turn opponents' libraries, hands and graveyards into free spells for the deck.
