Teval, the Balanced Scale Commander Deck
Teval, the Balanced Scale drives a self-mill and graveyard recursion engine, repeatedly attacking to dump lands and other cards into the graveyard while returning those lands to the battlefield to fuel aggressive landfall payoffs and an ever-growing army of Zombie tokens. The deck maximizes value from cards leaving the graveyard through a web of triggers — drawing cards, generating Treasure, and expanding the board — with Syr Konrad, the Grim converting each graveyard departure into direct damage across all opponents. Once a critical mass of creatures and lands have cycled through the graveyard, the deck closes games by slamming Craterhoof Behemoth onto a wide token board for a lethal trample attack, or by leveraging Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord to sacrifice large creatures and drain opponents out.
