The deck is a -1/-1 counters engine built around Auntie Ool. Every time counters land on one of its own creatures it draws a card, and every time they land on an opponent's creature that player loses 1 life. It spreads counters through blight costs, wither, sweepers and proliferate, and uses self-blighting creatures to turn the commander into a steady card-draw engine. The same counters drain, shrink and kill opposing boards, and a layer of death triggers, token makers and reanimation steals turns the attrition into value. How it wins: It grinds opponents out with repeated counter placement and death-trigger drains, amplified by All Will Be One and Enduring Tenacity, or closes instantly with Bloodchief Ascension plus Mindcrank looping life loss and mill. Key roles: - Self-blight card engine: Creatures and effects that put -1/-1 counters on its own creatures each turn, each placement drawing a card off Auntie Ool, with sturdy or recursive bodies to absorb the counters (Sinister Gnarlbark, Scuzzback Scrounger, Devoted Druid). - Board-wide counter spreading: Symmetrical counter sweepers and repeatable spreaders hit every opponent's creatures at once. Each affected opponent loses life through Auntie Ool while their boards wither away (Darkness Descends, Carnifex Demon, Black Sun's Zenith). - Wither and proliferate amplification: Wither effects turn all damage into counters, and proliferate multiplies existing counters. This produces repeated Auntie Ool triggers and steadily escalating pressure (Everlasting Torment, Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, Contagion Engine). - Counter payoffs and token swarms: Permanents trigger whenever counters are placed. They make tokens, which then
