Shiko, Paragon of the Way is a Jeskai control commander that uses flying and vigilance to pressure opponents while holding up interaction, and its enters-the-battlefield trigger provides a free cast of a key low-cost spell to generate value whenever it enters or is recast. The deck controls the board through a suite of sweepers, targeted removal, and counterspells, while Jeskai Ascendancy and recursive creatures like Archaeomancer and Spellseeker ensure the deck maintains card advantage and recovers key pieces throughout the game. The win condition is simply grinding opponents out through tempo and incremental advantage before closing with Shiko as an evasive threat backed by continued counterspell protection.
