Zaxara, the Exemplary sits at the heart of this Hydra tribal and X-spell synergy deck, generating a growing army of Hydra tokens every time an X-spell is cast while also providing mana acceleration to fuel increasingly massive payoffs. The deck ramps hard through mana dorks, rocks, and spells that find lands, then unleashes X-spells like Torment of Hailfire and Villainous Wealth as primary win conditions that can devastate opponents or steal their entire boards. Counter-doubling effects, Doubling Season, and synergies with cards like Kalonian Hydra cause the +1/+1 counter ecosystem to snowball rapidly, turning the Hydra token army into an overwhelming combat threat.
