The deck aims to grow Vincent Valentine into a massive threat by engineering situations where opponent creatures die, accumulating +1/+1 counters equal to their power, which rewards targeting large creatures or triggering mass removal. Once sufficiently large, attacking lets Vincent transform into Galian Beast, converting that counter-grown size into a trample and lifelink finisher that can close out games through combat damage. A key resilience layer is Galian Beast's death trigger, which returns it to the battlefield as Vincent Valentine again, making the commander extremely difficult to permanently remove and allowing the counter-accumulation engine to restart.
