The deck generates incremental value through repeated landfall triggers using bounce lands and land-untap effects, building toward infinite landfall loops with Walking Atlas and cards like Retreat to Coralhelm that unlock unlimited land plays, while also generating massive burst landfall triggers by sacrificing lands en masse and recurring them from the graveyard, with Cosmic Intervention enabling ten or more landfall triggers across two consecutive turns. A defensive lock using Glacial Chasm, Zuran Orb, and Crucible of Worlds can make the pilot effectively invincible while the deck grinds toward victory, with Ob Nixilis, the Fallen serving as an alternative win condition that converts landfall triggers directly into lethal damage.
