Sidisi's Angry Vine
Sidisi, Brood Tyrant Commander Deck
Sidisi drives a self-mill graveyard deck. It throws cards from the library into the graveyard as fast as possible. Each batch that contains a creature makes a 2/2 Zombie through Sidisi, and Teval adds more Zombies whenever cards leave the graveyard. That stocked graveyard then fuels free recursive threats, reanimation of big payoffs, and graveyard-scaling creatures, so the deck builds a wide board out of milled cards. How it wins: It builds a wide army of Zombie tokens and recurring creatures, then ends the game with a mass pump or a huge graveyard-powered threat, using Dread Return and other reanimation to cheat in finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth. Key roles: - Self-mill engines: These repeatedly dump the top of the library, often in bunches, so creature cards keep hitting the graveyard and Sidisi keeps making Zombies. (Hedron Crab, Stitcher's Supplier, Mesmeric Orb) - Dredge and graveyard-only creatures: These swap draws for big mills or get value straight from the graveyard. Narcomoeba enters the battlefield when milled, and Wonder grants flying from the yard. (Golgari Grave-Troll, Stinkweed Imp, Narcomoeba) - Recursive threats: These creatures return themselves on landfall, from casting spells out of the graveyard, or from creatures re-entering, and each return can chain into others. (Bloodghast, Prized Amalgam, Vengevine) - Reanimation package: Tutors bin specific creatures, and cheap reanimation spells put the best target onto the battlefield. Dread Return's flashback turns spare Zombie tokens into a second reanimation. (Entomb, Buried Alive, Dread Return) - Graveyard-scaling payoffs: These threats grow with or are cast from a full graveyard, and Colossal Grave-Reaver copies Sidisi's trigger in a far stronger form by putting milled creatures straight onto the battlefield. (Hogaak, Arisen Necropolis, Colossal Grave-Reaver, Wight of the Reliquary) - Sacrifice outlets and finishers: Sac outlets turn surplus tokens and returning creatures into more mill or card draw. Mass pump effects then convert the wide board into a lethal attack. (Altar of Dementia, Craterhoof Behemoth, End-Raze Forerunners)
