The deck floods the board with expendable tokens, recursive creatures like Bloodghast, and self-replacing threats, then converts them into sacrifice fodder through altars, sac outlets, and edict effects that also pressure opponents' boards. Priest of Forgotten Gods and similar sacrifice enablers compound the pressure, while discard-based disruption from cards like Liliana of the Veil and Braids, Cabal Minion strips opponents of resources until the incremental life drain closes out the game.
