Gandalf, Party Guest enables free casting of instants and sorceries at the beginning of combat, with the deck assembling a small army of legendary Wizards to increase his mana value threshold and unlock increasingly powerful free spells. The deck layers trigger-doubling effects from Veyran, Voice of Duality and Harmonic Prodigy alongside magecraft and prowess payoffs, so each free or discounted spell cascades into card draw, damage, and creature buffs. The win condition emerges from overwhelming opponents through repeated combat phases, a growing board of pumped Wizards, and Balmor, Battlemage Captain's repeated grants of trample that push combat damage through.
