Ral, Monsoon Mage transforms into Ral, Leyline Prodigy once enough instants and sorceries have been cast, at which point he generates red mana and deals damage with each subsequent spell, enabling explosive storm turns fueled by ritual effects, wheels, and cheap cantrips. The deck assembles a high storm count rapidly using cost-reduction, mana-positive rituals, and looting effects to dig toward key pieces, then closes the game through combos like Reiterate with Jeska's Will for infinite mana and storm, or Underworld Breach alongside Brain Freeze for near-infinite mill. Past in Flames and Underworld Breach also serve as recovery engines, replaying spells from the graveyard to rebuild momentum or close out a stalled combo turn.
