The Mycotyrant fuels itself by aggressively milling its own library through a wide array of self-mill effects, triggering descent to generate a growing army of Fungus tokens at each end step, which in turn scales the commander into an enormous trampling threat. The deck converts this ever-expanding token swarm into life drain through death-trigger payoffs and sacrifice outlets, while Chatterfang, Squirrel General doubles token production to accelerate the board state. Craterhoof Behemoth serves as the primary alpha-strike win condition, while recursive engines like Meren of Clan Nel Toth and graveyard reanimation effects ensure the deck rebuilds from disruption and can close games through repeated sacrifice drain loops.
