The deck centers on accumulating experience counters through the partner pair: Kratos, Stoic Father generates counters by attacking or losing Gods, then distributes those counters as +1/+1 counters to grow creatures each end step, while Atreus, Impulsive Son converts the counter stockpile into card draw and passive damage to all opponents. A suite of changeling creatures and Gods ensures a steady stream of experience counter triggers, and proliferate effects from multiple sources accelerate the counter accumulation well beyond what combat alone provides. The deck wins by creating an unstoppable army of oversized creatures made unblockable through Herald of Secret Streams or granted extra combats via Aggravated Assault, while Atreus chips opponents down with repeated pings scaled to the experience total.
