The deck revolves around Frodo and Sam generating a continuous stream of Food tokens, which Sam cheapens, to fuel repeated life gain that triggers Frodo's Ring-tempting attack ability and draws cards. Life gain payoffs like Sanguine Bond drain opponents whenever you gain life, while creatures that scale with Food count or grow from +1/+1 counters tied to life gain provide a robust combat presence. The ultimate goal is to advance the Ring temptation track to enable Frodo, Sauron's Bane's instant-kill combat damage trigger, supported by evasion tools and a board of Halfling tokens that overwhelm opponents through life drain and creature combat.
