Zimone, Infinite Analyst rewards repeatedly casting spells with X in their mana cost by growing larger over time, while simultaneously making each subsequent game state cheaper to execute as her counter total climbs. The deck aims to cast large X spells — such as mana sinks that draw cards, generate tokens, or deal damage scaled to X — at increasingly reduced costs, snowballing Zimone's size and the deck's mana efficiency together. Once Zimone has accumulated enough counters, the cost reduction can become so dramatic that X spells effectively cost only their colored components, enabling enormous payoff spells for very little investment.
