Doctor Doom leads a Villain tribal deck built around the connive mechanic, repeatedly drawing and discarding cards to grow creatures with +1/+1 counters while draining opponents whenever discarded cards are lands. The deck generates value through mass connive triggers from combat, Villain enters-the-battlefield effects, and support pieces that reward each discard with life loss, milled cards, or creature tokens, steadily building a wide board of powerful Villains. The primary win condition is an infinite loop involving Ultron, Unlimited, Prowler, Clawed Thief, and Ashnod's Altar, where repeated conniving generates endless Robot tokens that fuel sacrifices for colorless mana, which in turn creates more tokens and drains opponents through cascading death and discard triggers. There is a second wincon based on copying Doctor Doom multiple times with things such as the alternative commander Loki and Sakashima's will, or using Cool but Rude on level 2, then discarding only a few lands to deal massive table damage.
