Ekthi turns every Equipment into a body: each one enters attached to a fresh 0/0 Phyrexian Germ, and Ekthi pumps that Germ by +1/+1, so the deck is a mono-white Equipment swarm where every artifact cast is a creature, a card, and a threat at once. Equipment-cast card draw keeps the stream flowing, and token doublers turn each Germ into two (only one carries the Equipment, but the extra Germ survives thanks to Ekthi's buff). Because every Germ shares the Phyrexian type, typal anthems and type-based pumps let the board snowball into lethal damage. How it wins: It goes wide with buffed Phyrexian Germs and heavily equipped attackers, then swings with evasion, double strike, and damage-trigger Swords and Scytheclaw, or a team-wide Akroma's Will, to end the game in combat. Key roles: - Germ factory: Under Ekthi every Equipment brings its own creature, so cheap Equipment become bodies that dodge sorcery-speed equip costs. Flash and auto-attach effects let them drop at instant speed, and copy effects make extra Germs. (Sigarda's Aid, Masterwork of Ingenuity, Bloodforged Battle-Axe) - Equipment card engine: Draw triggers on Equipment cast or entry, plus tutors and top-deck cheats, refill the hand and find the key pieces. The Kíli draw only pays off once per turn. (Sram, Senior Edificer, Puresteel Paladin, Stoneforge Mystic) - Token doubling and Phyrexian anthems: Doublers create two Germs per Equipment, and type-sharing and Phyrexian buffs make the uniform Germ army huge. (Mondrak, Glory Dominus, Coat of Arms, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite) - Voltron payoffs: Combat-damage Equipment draw cards, untap lands, take half an opponent's life, or grant double strike and extra combats, turning one connected hit into a game-ending swing. (Scytheclaw, Sword of Feast and Famine, Genji Glove) - Sacrifice and recursion loop: Excess Germs and Equipment-carrying bodies get sacrificed for mana or pings. Artifact recursion brings Equipment back, which makes a new Germ each time. (Ashnod's Altar, Vulpine Harvester, Mortarpod) - One-sided sweepers: Wipes that spare tokens or a chosen creature type clear opposing boards while the Germ army survives, and Equipment left behind re-arm the next wave. (Hour of Reckoning, Kindred Judgment, White Sun's Twilight)
