Absorbing Man copies powerful artifacts, enchantments, or lands on the battlefield each turn, allowing him to act as a Swiss Army knife that adapts to whatever the most impactful permanent in play happens to be. The deck supports this by animating lands through the earthbend mechanic and loading them with +1/+1 counters, while counter-doubling effects from enchantments like Branching Evolution and Kami of Whispered Hopes snowball those counters across the board into an overwhelming combat presence. The deck wins through sheer size, attacking with massive trample-enabled creatures — including animated lands, counter-laden hydras, and token copies generated by Helm of the Host and Esika's Chariot — backed by hexproof and phasing effects to protect key pieces.
