Admiral Brass, Unsinkable
Admiral Brass, Unsinkable Commander Deck
Pirate tribal reanimator: Admiral Brass mills on entry and, every combat on the owner's turn, returns a Pirate creature card from the graveyard as a hasty 4/4 with a finality counter. That makes the graveyard a second hand. Self-mill, looting and discard effects stock the yard with Pirates. Each free reanimation then triggers "whenever a Pirate enters" payoffs like stealing, tapping, Treasure and life drain, and the board swarms in for combat-damage card draw and value. How it wins: A growing crew of recurring, anthem-boosted Pirates, many evasive, attacks every turn, backed by extra combats, damage doubling, stolen creatures and opponent life loss on each Pirate entry until the table is dead. Key roles: - Graveyard stocking: Mill, tutor-to-yard and loot/discard effects fill the graveyard with Pirates for Admiral Brass to pull back each combat, and turn on descend payoffs. (Buried Alive, Faithless Looting, Nephalia Drownyard) - Reanimation and recursion: Extra ways to replay creatures from the graveyard back up the commander, including giving the whole yard escape and returning a vehicle from the graveyard. (The Grim Captain's Locker, Port of Karfell, Skeleton Crew) - Pirate enters triggers: Every reanimated or cast Pirate triggers creature theft, permanent tapping, Treasure making or a drain on each opponent, so each recursion is worth far more than one body. (Coercive Recruiter, Merchant Raiders, Forerunner of the Coalition) - Tribal anthems and copying: Lord effects make the 4/4 reanimated bodies hit harder. Copying outlaw spells and drawing off Pirate casts multiply the crew. (Admiral Beckett Brass, Vanquisher's Banner, Double Down) - Combat damage payoffs: Evasive Pirates connect to draw cards, exile and play opponents' cards, make Treasure, steal permanents and take extra combats. (Coastal Piracy, Ramirez DePietro, Pillager, Port Razer) - Treasure and descend engine: Treasure from attacks, deaths and graveyard activity fuels mana. Descend-themed artifacts transform into stronger lands as permanents hit the yard. (Pitiless Plunderer, Enterprising Scallywag, Brass's Tunnel-Grinder // Tecutlan, the Searing Rift)
