Ulalek, Fused Atrocity sits at the center of a massive Eldrazi tribal strategy that leverages cost-reduction effects and mana acceleration to flood the board with colorless threats while building toward explosive combo turns. Ulalek's copy trigger requires casting a spell with the Eldrazi subtype specifically — generic colorless spells do not trigger it. Echoes of Eternity is the engine piece that doubles all the copies Ulalek generates when you cast an Eldrazi spell, and pairing it with Glaring Fleshraker or Writhing Chrysalis or Kozilek's Unsealing creates infinite loops of tokens, death triggers, and damage that end the game immediately. Outside of these combos, the deck can also win through pure Eldrazi aggression, generating Spawn and Scion tokens along the way to fuel further casts and keep Ulalek's copy trigger firing repeatedly. Key non-Eldrazi support cards and their roles: - Animar, Soul of Elements: cost reducer for creature spells broadly, which includes all Eldrazi creatures. Does not trigger Ulalek but reduces the cost of casting Eldrazi. - Eternal Witness: recursion piece and near-miss combo piece (one card away from Doppelgang infinite). Does not trigger Ulalek but fills a critical recursion role the deck is otherwise thin on.
