Rendmaw, Creaking Nest is the engine of an artifact-heavy storm-style deck that floods the board with cheap and free artifact creatures to trigger Rendmaw's ability repeatedly, generating a swarm of goaded 2/2 flying Bird tokens that attack opponents while leaving you largely untouched. The deck leverages cost-reduction effects and affinity to chain artifacts into play efficiently, then uses sacrifice outlets like Ashnod's Altar and Phyrexian Altar to convert tokens and cheap creatures into mana, fueling further plays and generating massive card draw through Skullclamp. Throne of the God-Pharaoh turns the army of tapped creatures — both your token producers and your opponents' goaded Birds — into a life-draining end-game, while Mystic Forge and Metalworker provide the card access and mana explosiveness needed to keep the chain going until opponents are overwhelmed.
