Tam, Observant Sequencer Commander Deck

by exiled_nautilus100 cards

Tam, Observant Sequencer is a Simic landfall value deck that turns every extra land drop into card advantage. Each land entering prepares Tam, letting it cast a copy of Deep Sight to draw a card and gain 1 life, but casting the copy unprepares it, so it only pays off once per preparation. The list is full of land fetchers, land-to-hand bouncers, extra land drops and creatures that re-enter the battlefield to trigger landfall repeatedly. It backs this with heavy card draw, a wide counterspell and bounce suite, and midsize creatures that grow off land count. How it wins: It out-draws and out-interacts the table, then closes with landfall-pumped and land-count beaters, big fliers like Tempest Djinn and Sea Drake, or a cloned Biovisionary army. Key roles: - Landfall enablers: These put lands onto the battlefield outside the normal land drop, re-preparing Tam several times per round for repeated Deep Sight copies. (Fertilid, Dreamscape Artist, Evolving Wilds) - Land recycling: Bounce lands and effects that return lands to hand let the same lands be replayed for fresh landfall triggers. Extra land drops and land-finding creatures keep the hand stocked with lands to play. (Simic Growth Chamber, Sea Drake, Beorn, Reluctant Host) - Blink and replay value: Creatures that bounce or top-deck other permanents recast enter-the-battlefield fetchers and diggers. A recursive landfall creature returns from the graveyard to keep the chain going. (Mirkwood Nurturer, Nulltread Gargantuan, Silvan Reveler) - Card advantage stack: Cheap draw, selection and big instant-speed draw spells layer on top of Tam's copies to bury opponents in cards. Archaeomancer rebuys the best of these spells. (Arcanis the Omnipotent, Opportunity, Archaeomancer) - Control shell: A dense suite of counterspells, bounce and fog-like tempo effects protects the engine and stalls opposing threats while card advantage accrues. One aura even unprepares and locks down an opposing creature. (Sound the Trumpets, Aetherize, Infinite Coursework) - Land-count finishers: Creatures that scale with lands, landfall or Islands become the clock once the mana base is large. Stolen Identity can copy them, or multiply Biovisionary toward its alternate win. (Scute Mob, Tempest Djinn, Stolen Identity)
