Felisa, Fang of Silverquill rewards loading nontoken creatures with counters — through mentor, +1/+1 counter placement, and various other counter-granting effects — so that when those creatures die, they generate swarms of 2/1 flying Inkling tokens. The deck leverages changelings and shapeshifters as expendable counter-bearing bodies that are easy to sacrifice or trade in combat, fueling repeated waves of Inkling production, while cards like Nesting Grounds and Karn's Bastion help manipulate and proliferate counters to maximize the token output. The wide Inkling board then threatens to win through combat, supported by anthem effects and mass evasion provided by cards like Inkshield and Dramatic Finale.
