Nashi, Moon's Legacy Commander Deck

by FerbTM100 cards

Nashi, Moon's Legacy leads a Sultai Rat tribal deck that fills its own graveyard with mill and surveil. Every time Nashi attacks, it exiles a legendary or Rat card from the graveyard and lets the player cast a copy, so the graveyard works like a second hand. Self-mill does double duty: it turns on threshold Rats like Persistent Marshstalker, Tidecaller Mentor and Thought Shucker, and it stocks recursion targets. Meanwhile token makers and Rat anthems build a wide, evasive swarm that sacrifice outlets and death triggers can cash in. How it wins: It swarms opponents with pumped, menacing or deathtouch Rats backed by drain effects and Syr Konrad damage, with the toxic Rats of Karumonix as an extra poison angle. Key roles: - Graveyard filling: Mill and surveil sources keep putting legendary and Rat cards into the graveyard for Nashi, Moon's Legacy to copy, and they reach the seven-card threshold quickly (Stitcher's Supplier, Sultai Ascendancy, Ashcoat of the Shadow Swarm). - Legendary value targets: Legendary creatures and the commander's earlier Nashi incarnations are the best cards for Nashi, Moon's Legacy to copy on attack. Each copy becomes a token that adds card advantage, tokens or removal, and the Background can make the commander a huge flying, deathtouch threat (Lord Skitter, Sewer King, Vren, the Relentless, Cultist of the Absolute). - Rat swarm and anthems: Rat token makers and self-copying Rats go wide, and cards that scale with the Rat count or grant menace and deathtouch turn the horde into lethal attacks (Pack Rat, Piper of the Swarm, Ogre Slumlord). - Threshold payoffs: Rats that get bigger, draw cards, bounce permanents or return from the graveyard once seven cards are there reward the self-mill (Persistent Marshstalker, Thought Shucker, Tidecaller Mentor). - Sacrifice and death triggers: Sacrifice outlets turn spare Rats and tokens into cards, mill and removal, while death and graveyard-movement triggers punish opponents and refill the board (Syr Konrad, the Grim, Skullclamp, Altar of Dementia).
