Winter, Misanthropic Guide fuels a wheel and forced-draw engine that floods opponents with cards while punishing them for having full hands, using enchantments and creatures that deal damage whenever opponents draw or discard to drain life totals. Once delirium is active, Winter shrinks opponents' maximum hand size progressively, turning the constant card flow into a mandatory discard loop that feeds damage triggers from effects like Megrim, Liliana's Caress, Raiders' Wake, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse. The deck maintains delirium by stocking its graveyard with diverse card types through self-mill, cycling, and recursion, while Mindcrank and Psychosis Crawler convert the resulting damage and card counts into additional pressure that closes out the game.
