Satoru, the Infiltrator rewards you for putting creatures onto the battlefield without casting them, drawing a card each time such creatures enter, which synergizes with the deck's core strategy of filling the graveyard through milling and self-discard, then recurring creatures for free via reanimation spells and self-recurring permanents like Bloodghast and Prized Amalgam. The deck bleeds opponents out through a dense web of death triggers — draining life whenever creatures die or enter from graveyards, punishing opponents for every sacrifice, kill spell, or board wipe — with Syr Konrad, the Grim and Vein Ripper amplifying this attrition pressure significantly. Sacrifice outlets keep creatures cycling through the graveyard to maximize drain triggers, draw engines, and recursive loops, ultimately grinding opponents to zero through accumulated life loss rather than combat damage.
