This deck uses Jegantha, the Wellspring as a companion to fuel an extensive mutate strategy, stacking multiple creatures into powerful merged threats that trigger a cascade of effects — drawing cards, destroying permanents, returning creatures from the graveyard, draining life, and ramping lands — with each successive mutation. A five-color mana base backed by color-synergy ramp pieces like Faeburrow Elder and Bloom Tender ensures Jegantha's restricted mana output is supplemented, enabling the costly mutate spells that drive the engine. The primary win condition is Coalition Victory, made achievable by building a mutated creature that displays multiple colors while controlling lands of each basic type, with the rest of the deck protecting that gameplan through counterspells, targeted removal, and board wipes.
