Surrak Dragonclaw Commander Deck

by JLaB23100 cards

Temur big-creature stompy. Surrak Dragonclaw makes the deck's creature spells uncounterable and gives the rest of the team trample, so the list fills up with high-power creatures and pushes them through the red zone. A large package of "power 4 or greater enters" and "creature enters" draw engines turns each fat creature into card advantage. Haste enablers and power-doubling effects let freshly cast threats swing for lethal amounts of trampling damage right away, while a blue counterspell suite and hexproof effects guard the board. How it wins: It overwhelms opponents with oversized hasty tramplers whose power gets doubled or pumped across the team, sometimes with extra combat phases, so the damage runs through any chump blockers. Key roles: - Uncounterable creature-chain card draw: Every big creature that resolves under Surrak Dragonclaw's protection draws cards, so the deck refills while it deploys threats. (Garruk's Uprising, Temur Ascendancy, Soul of the Harvest) - Haste for fresh threats: Newly cast fatties can attack the turn they land, which fits Surrak Dragonclaw's flash and the deck's habit of dumping large bodies quickly. (Maelstrom Wanderer, Urabrask the Hidden, Surrak and Goreclaw) - Power multiplication and team pumps: These effects double or scale creature power, so trample (given by Surrak Dragonclaw and others) turns one combat into a lethal swing, with extra combats on top. (Gratuitous Violence, Pathbreaker Ibex, Xenagos, God of Revels) - Big-creature cheating and cascade: Cost reduction, cascade and top-of-library deployment put expensive creatures into play faster and for free. (Imoti, Celebrant of Bounty, Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma, Earth's Mightiest Heroes) - Power-scaling mana: Mana sources that grow with the greatest power on board or with attacking bodies fuel the high-cost creature curve. (Selvala, Heart of the Wilds, Savage Ventmaw, Castle Garenbrig) - Protection and interaction shell: Counterspells handle noncreature answers, while hexproof, shroud and redirection keep the key attackers alive. Several of the counters, such as Stubborn Denial, get stronger with a big creature on board. (Stubborn Denial, Asceticism, Saryth, the Viper's Fang)
