This deck revolves around Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER, who generates card draw and life drain whenever creatures die, with the goal of triggering his transformation into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel by engineering four creature deaths in a single turn, at which point an emblem locks in a permanent drain effect for the rest of the game. The deck floods the board with cheap, recursive, and token-generating creatures to fuel a web of sacrifice outlets and death-trigger payoffs that bleed opponents through life loss and life gain simultaneously. The primary win conditions are infinite sacrifice loops centered on Gravecrawler and Reassembling Skeleton combined with Pitiless Plunderer and Ashnod's Altar, generating unbounded death triggers that translate into lethal life drain through the commander's emblem and the many redundant drain effects throughout the deck.
