Aristocrat
Teysa, Orzhov Scion Commander Deck
This is a Teysa aristocrats deck. It fills the board with small creatures and tokens, sacrifices them repeatedly through free sac outlets and altars, and turns every death into value. Teysa replaces each dying black creature with a white flying Spirit, and Darkest Hour makes everything black so the chain feeds itself. The deaths fuel drain triggers, card draw, Treasure and forced edicts, with token doublers and death-trigger multipliers stacking the payoffs higher. How it wins: Repeated sacrifice loops drain the table one point per death through multiple Blood Artist-style effects, while edict engines strip opponents' boards, backed by an alternate win from Revel in Riches Treasures and a big wide swing with Porcelain Gallery. Key roles: - Fodder and recursive bodies: Creatures that leave tokens or return after dying, so each sacrifice is close to free and the loop keeps going, with Teysa converting black deaths into Spirits. (Nine-Lives Familiar, Nether Traitor, Indebted Spirit) - Free sacrifice outlets and altars: Cost-free sac abilities and mana-producing altars that turn the board into mana, scry or counters at instant speed, enabling loops and dodging removal. (Viscera Seer, Ashnod's Altar, Phyrexian Altar) - Death drain payoffs: Stacked effects that make opponents lose life on each creature death, which is the main kill mechanism once enough bodies are dying. (Zulaport Cutthroat, Cruel Celebrant, Bastion of Remembrance) - Edict and lockdown engine: Every death forces opponents to sacrifice creatures, which grinds out their boards and also feeds Treasure for the Revel in Riches alternate win. (Grave Pact, Dictate of Erebos, Revel in Riches) - Multipliers and amplifiers: Token doubling and extra triggers from low-power creatures turn each death or token creation into twice the value. Teysa's Spirits and Kambal's token drain scale especially well with these. (Mondrak, Glory Dominus, Delney, Streetwise Lookout, Darkest Hour) - Sacrifice-for-cards fuel: Draw engines that trigger on deaths or creatures entering keep a steady card flow so the deck never runs out of fodder. (Skullclamp, Morbid Opportunist, Enduring Innocence)
