Rendmaw, Creaking Nest Commander Deck

Rendmaw, Creaking Nest is the engine of an artifact-centric strategy that floods the board with zero- and low-cost artifact creatures to take advantage of deep affinity-style cost reduction, generating a massive swarm cheaply while using sacrifice outlets like Phyrexian Altar and Ashnod's Altar to recycle resources and generate mana. Crucially, many of these cheap artifacts have multiple card types, which repeatedly triggers Rendmaw to create goad Bird tokens on all sides of the table, directing opponents to attack each other while the deck's own force grows largely unmolested. The deck wins by combining the goaded Bird army with Throne of the God-Pharaoh to punish opponents for their tapped attackers, and by leveraging Coat of Arms to make the shared Scarecrow, Bird, and artifact creature types scale into lethal power across the board.
