K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth is the engine of this deck, converting life into black mana to cast spells at drastically reduced costs and snowballing in size through lifelink and +1/+1 counters. The deck floods the board with life payment effects, devotion-based drain, and life-for-draw effects to sustain and accelerate into its win conditions, while a graveyard recursion package ensures key threats can be replayed repeatedly. The primary win conditions are a Sensei's Divining Top plus Aetherflux Reservoir loop enabled by Bolas's Citadel to generate near-infinite storm and deal 50 damage, or simply casting Peer into the Abyss on an opponent while Bloodletter of Aclazotz doubles their resulting life loss to lethal levels.
