The deck floods the board with Elves and Faeries, using each creature entering to exile cards from opponents' libraries while simultaneously growing the number of free spells available each turn. As the Elf and Faerie count climbs, Maralen lets you cast increasingly expensive spells from opponents' exiled cards for free once per turn, turning the opponent's own library into a resource advantage. The strategy rewards going wide with tribal synergies, since a larger board means both more exile triggers and access to higher mana value free spells each turn.
