Varina, Lich Queen leads a wide Zombie tribal strategy that leverages attacking with a horde of undead to cycle through the deck, refuel hand resources, and gain life, while also converting graveyard cards into additional Zombie tokens. The deck builds a critical mass of creatures through token generators, lords that buff all Zombies, and reanimation effects, creating a self-sustaining board that grows larger each turn. Victory comes through overwhelming combat damage amplified by Zombie lords, or through drain effects like Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Bastion of Remembrance that bleed opponents out as creatures enter and die.
