Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn transforms between two modes — using convoke to flood the board with creatures cheaply, then flipping to Isilu to grant all nontoken creatures persist, creating a recursive engine where creatures continuously die and return. The deck exploits this by combining persist with Thran Vigil, which removes the -1/-1 counter when a creature returns, effectively granting undying-and-persist in tandem so creatures bounce between life and death infinitely through sacrifice outlets. This infinite loop generates endless death and enters-the-battlefield triggers, which drain effects like Blood Artist and Zulaport Cutthroat convert into a table-wide life loss win condition.
