Daxos the Returned Commander Deck

by GUBBA9000100 cards

The deck is an Orzhov enchantress shell. Casting a steady stream of enchantments feeds Daxos experience counters, while Daxos's activated ability turns spare mana into Spirit enchantment creature tokens that grow with every enchantment cast. Each enchantment cast or landed also triggers card draw, Spirit tokens from Hallowed Haunting, and constellation effects (drain, Pegasus tokens, -1/-1 sweeps, flicker removal). Token doublers and copy effects multiply the board. How it wins: It builds a wide board of ever-growing Spirit and Pegasus tokens behind pillowfort and stax pieces, then swings with evasion and double strike, backed by incidental constellation life drain. Key roles: - Enchantment cast engine: Cheap and free enchantment casting keeps experience counters climbing, and every cast also draws cards and makes extra Spirits, so each spell is worth far more than its own effect. (Mesa Enchantress, Starfield Mystic, Demon of Fate's Design) - Token army and multipliers: Daxos's Spirits, Hallowed Haunting's Spirit Clerics and other token makers are doubled or copied, and token arrivals draw cards. This turns spare mana into a scaling board. (Anointed Procession, Hallowed Haunting, Caretaker's Talent) - Constellation value: Enchantments entering the battlefield drain each opponent, make flying Pegasus, shrink enemy boards or temporarily exile threats. Ondu Spiritdancer's copies add extra enters triggers. (Grim Guardian, Archon of Sun's Grace, Doomwake Giant) - Pillowfort and tempo stax: Attack taxes, enter-tapped effects and punishers for opponents' extra cards or attacks keep the deck safe while its tokens grow. Several of these also extort or draw. (Ghostly Prison, Blind Obedience, Trouble in Pairs) - Enchantment-safe sweepers and recursion: Board wipes that spare enchantment creatures or are cast selectively reset opponents while the deck's own pieces return. Enchantments come back from the graveyard en masse or one at a time. (Extinguish All Hope, Eiganjo Dynastorian, Hall of Heliod's Generosity) - Finishers and evasion: Double strike with lifelink, flying granted to enchantment creatures, and a sacrifice outlet for big burst damage close games once the board is wide. (True Conviction, Soaring Lightbringer, Bolas's Citadel)
